Cambodia in cooperation with Thailand has held Thailand Trade Exhibition at Diamond Island. The exhibition has lasted for four days from February 17 to 20.
Although the tensions between the two countries over Preah Vihear temple are still facing, but the business situation is normal. The value of bilateral trade between the two countries grew more than 50 percent in 2010.
Figures from the Thai Embassy’s foreign trade promotion office showed the value of trade rose to US$2.557 billion in 2010, up from $1.658 billion a year earlier – growth of about 54 percent.
According to the reports from Thai embassy in Phnom Penh, the two countries’ trade in 2010 cost 254,000 millions dollars. Cambodia’s exports to Thailand valued 214,7 million dollars and Thailand’s imports to Cambodia was 2,34 million dollars.
